Galatea Cricketers' Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the Galatea Cricket Club was held on Tuesday. The attendance was small. Officers elected: Patron, Mr J. Wilson; president, Mr J. Rowlands; secretary, Mr C. Allen; committee, Messrs G. Holmes, F. Neville, J. Willbond; club captain, Mr M. Caie. During the past year the club had enjoyed a good season financially and members were keenly looking forward to the start of the new season.
A vote of thanks was passed to the ladies for their support and catering for the visiting teams.
