No Cycle Bells; Traffic Cases Heard In Court
Lack of bicycle bells caused a number of Edgecumbe residents to be fined by Mr Walton, S.M., in the Whakatane Court on Tuesday. Transport Department cases brought the following penalties, with costs: —
Maurice Head, at Edgecumbe, no cycle bell, 5/-. No headlight, 5/-. Thomas Richard Hickey, at Galatea, unregistered motor vehicle, £l. Koro •Rangihika, at Ruatoki, no heavy •traffic licence, £2. Bernard L. Sunn merell, at Edgecumbe, no cycle bell, 5/-. Richard A. Syversten, at Whakatane, no driving licence, 5/. Wi vemu Waretini, unregistered vehicle, 10/-.
