PUBLIC NOTICES TO ALL MEMBERS AND INTENDING MEMBERS OF THE NEW ZEALAND DEERSTALKERS ASSOCIATION A meeting will be held in the R.P.D. social room, Edgecumbe, on Tuesday, September 12 ,at 8 p.m. with the object of electing a representative from the WhakataneEdgecumbe district for the executive on the newly-formed Bay of Plenty branch of the N.Z.D.A. in Tauranga. Signed, J. NOWLAND, 93 Convenor. HARBOUR DEVELOPMENT BAY OF PLENTY AREA A Committee of Inquiry has been instructed to investigate and report to the Hon. Minister of Works upon proposals for harbour development in the Bay of Plenty area, and in particular upon what immediate and future provision should be made and the site for such development, taking into account all factors involved.
Any person or persons desiring to make a submission on these matters should do so in writing to the Chairman, Bay of Plenty Harbour Committee of Inquiry, C./- Ministry of Works, Tauranga, before noon, 25th September. The Committee expects to commence investigations in the area on Monday, the 25th September- 1950, and persons making submissions may be requested to attend at a suitable time and place to give further evidence or be examined hy the Committee if the Committee so desires.
