NOISY MOTOR CYCLES
Sir, —I was pleased to, see Mr Terry’s letter in which he complains of certain motor cyclists travelling above the speed limit and also with open exhausts. Now these riders are definitely law-breakerS with whom I have no sympathy, and, with Mr Cameron, I agree that they constitute themselves a pest and should be dealt with. But I still say that all those motor cyclists who are law-abiding citizens; and they are in a great majority, should not be blamed for the deeds of a few wild hoodlums. The 8.0.P.M.C.C. members and the majority of the other private motor cyclists are playing the game and are deserving the tolerance and support of the public.
Yours etc., B-R-R-R-M This correspondence is now closed, Ed.
