Opinion Is Sought From Gisborne
A decision to seek the opinion of the Gisborne Chamber of Commerce about a site for a Bay of Plenty harbour and if possible, secure its support for Whakatane was made at a meeting of the Whakatane Chamber' of Commerce on Thursday night. In an informal discussion, it was mentioned that Tauranga authorities had gone as far as Opotiki in search of support.
