Wedding

BRICE—HERDMAN On Saturday, St. George's Anglican Church was the scene of the wedding of Mollie, second daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Herdman, Ohope, and Felix Brice, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Brice, of Wellington. The officiating minister was the Rev. T. Barnet and the wedding music was played by Mrs Fraser. The bride, who entered the Church on the arm of her father, wore an off white moire taffeta gown cut on classifically simple lines. The fully flared skirt fell into a train and from a wide-pointed corsage, the bodice, buttoned to the neck, finished with a demure collar under which was worn a triple string of pearls the gift of the bridegroom. Her veil was held in place by a coronet of cream freesias and pastel pink carnations and her shower bouquet was of the same colourings.

Miss Sally Herdman attended her sister as bridesmaid. She wore a picturesque frock of sky blue and white figured organdie \ over taffeta. From the heart-shaped neckline the low waisted bodice was trimmed with tiny pleated frills. She carried a bouquet of blue irises and cream freesia. The same flowers were repeated in a circlet for her hair.

After the ceremony Miss B. Bredkon sang the solo "Come let us all this day" by Bach. As she left the church the bride was presented with a white satin lucky horseshoe by her young sister Gillian.

Mrs Herdman, who received the guests at the reception held in the Masonic Hall, wore a smart dovegrey tailored suit and accessories relieved with dusky pink.

Mrs Brice wore a smart grey spring coat with petunia velour hat and accessories.

The bride travelled in a chic spring suit of forget-me-not blue woollen bouche cloth. She wore a small royal blue hat trimmed with a cluster of feathers and carried a velour coat of the same shade. Mr and Mrs Brice will make their home in Wellington.
