CHAMPIONSHIPS TO START AT TE TEKO On Sunday the first qualifying round for the Club’s Championships is to be played at the Te Teko Golf Club. The best card will take the President’s trophy. The draw: — Lyons v Thomas, Macken v Nation, Gbodwin v L. B. Smith, Gardner v Hendl, Jamieson v L. Hall, Whiteley v Balfour, P. Clark v Johnston, M. Hall v Latimer, Watson v R. Patterson* S. Clark v O’Brien, D. Patterson v Craddock, A. P. Smith v Harris, Caldwell v O’Sullivan, Glen v Knight, Moulden v Lennon, Burr v liaultain, Hegh v Hill.

WHAKATANE TO PLAY ROTORUA On Sunday the Whakatane Golf Club is to send a team of 28 players to Rotorua to play a friendly match with the Rotorua Golf Club.
Members arg advised that the date for the qualifying rounds of the club championships has been altered to August 19 instead of September 2.
