Four Zones For Bowling Champs .

At a meeting of the executive committee of the Bay of Plenty Bowling Centre, tournament dates for the clubs affiliated to the centre were approved. It was decided to organise four zones in the annual championship singles bowling competition for the Bay of Plenty. After each club has found its champion for the year, semi-finalists will be found from the zones, which will be as follows:—Katikati, Tauranga, Tauranga South and Mount Maunganui; Rotorua, Ngongotaha and Te Puke; Whakatane, Matata and Ohope; Opotiki, Opotiki Citizens and Taneatua.
