Maori Names To Be Changed

A list of new names which the Geographical Board intends to give to a number of places and topographical features are contained in the latest Gazette.

It is proposed that Motuhora. post office and railway station between Gisborne and Opotiki, be spelt Moutohora, and that Kotemaori, post office and railway station between Napier and Gisborne, become Te Maori.

Objections to the new names may be made to Ijhe board during the next three months.
