The following are the Auckland Maori Rugby League teams to challenge Bay of Plenty for the Waitangi Shield at Ruatoki on Saturday:—
Auckland Maori: Backs, Ropata, N. Lee, W. Beasley, W. Pai, Wonikaere, Tukare; forwards, A. Wright, J. Menzies, A. Gray, W. Maxwell, N. Potatau, Davies. Reserves: Back, N. Wright; forward, O. Kelly. Auckland Maori B: Hine, Rogers, M. Gray, Peters, L. Pai, K. Beazley, W. Hoeft, Mills, Williams, Bain, Gramham, Te Hui. < LOSS TO BAY With two of their keymen absent Bay of Plenty had a hard tussle With the Rotorua Rugby League representatives on Saturday, being defeated narrowly 10-9. In a B game Bay of Plenty beat Rotorua 33-11.
