Galatea Heifer Sale

The cattle came forward in wonderful sale order and created keen competition from an appreciative bench of buyers from Galatea, Te Puke, Tauranga and Whakatane districts at a successful sale of springing heifers on account of Mr A. W. Black, Galatea, conducted by Wright, Stephenson and Company. A complete clearance was made with a top price of £3O, the average for 107 head, which included seven springing cows, being £lB 12s.
