CENTRAL BAY TEAMS TO PLAY WAJPA Two strong tearfis have been selected to represent Central Bay of Plenty in representative hockiv matches against Waipa at Te Awamutu pn Saturday. A .bus taking the teams will leave Whakatane at 7.15 a.m. travelling via Awakeri. . Edgecumbe and Te Teko. Any player not available should notify the managers:— Women: B. Tena, W. Edwards, E. JUNIOR SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT Junior hockey teams will be playing in a ; seven-a-side tournament at Edgecumbe on Saturday commencing' at 10 a.m. On Sunday * the usual weekly senior competitions will be continued: — A Grade: Women: 1 p.m., Matata v Apanui at Apanui, Crook and Mrs Grey; Rovers v Poroporo at Edgecumbe, Learning and Marx; Te Teko a bye. Men: 2.15, Riverslea v Apanui at Apanui, Crook and Mrs Grey; Rovers v Whakatane at Edgecumbe, Learning and Marx; Poroporo win by default from Awakeri. B Grade: Women: 1 p.m., Huimai v Paroa at Paroa, Mrs Grant and 1 Keriti; Poroporo v Blues at Poroporo, Barton and Mrs Horapapara; Taneatua v Stars at Taneatua, Henderson and Revell; Te Teko v Onepu at Onepu, Schooner and Tihi. Men: 2.15, Huimai v Rangers at Edgecumbe, Mrs Chamberlain and Moses; Whakatane v Blues at Whakatane, Barton and Rigden; Stars v Taneatua at Taneatua, Henderson and Gardner; Te Teko a bye.
