The American Legion, largest organisation of war veterans in the United States, has completed distribution of 3,000,000 toys to children in 12 nations.
A scale so delicate that it can measure the weight of one-thirtieth of one-billionth of an ounce (an ounce is 28.3 grams) has been developed in the United States. The device is a magnetc balance that operates in a vacuum.
