Old Hangi Found

A party of New Zealand Forest Service men from - a camp at Erua, near National Park, recently found a Maori hangi, hidden in open tussock country three miles from Taurewa. The oven, which appeared very old, was discovered when one of the men dug a spade into the ground and struck a heap of stones about three inches below the surface.
