Visitors Welcomed At Manawahe

Mrs Goldsmith presided over a good attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Manawahe Women’s Institute. An old member was welcomed back and- a visitor also welcomed.

Details were finalised of the demonstration to be given by Mrs K. Stewart, Whakatane, on glove ing.

. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Morice, and Ansell.

Competitions: Flower, Mrs Ansell 1, Mrs Mikklesen 2; shrub, Mrs Appleby 1, Mrs Jones 2; vegetable, Mrs Mikklesen 2, Mrs Morice 2; knitted article, Mrs Goldsmith 1, Mrs Armstrong 2.
