Jersey breeders from most dairying districts in the Dominion attended a sale of Jersey cattle, conducted on behalf of. the Country; Gentlemen’s Association of Jersey Island, at Upper Hutt. Eleven lots were sold at an average price of 573gns, the top price being 750gns paid by Mrs M. Paul of Paerata Ridge, Opctiki, -nd Neil Reid Taneatua for the yearling bull Margarethe’s Designer. Other sales were: Bulls: Checkmaids Victorious Dreamer, to R. L. Macdonald, Nukuhou North, Wairaana, 700gns; Rochettes Rex 11, to

D. Purdei, Waitara, 700gns; Oakbornes Cute Draconian, to H. J. Fourneaux and H. Wilson, Hastings, 650gns; Winsome Lad, to J. J. McErlean, Foxton, 425gns; Hussy s Dreaming Designer, to C. Jamieson Carterton, 325gns; Fannys Dreaming Boy, to E. R. Johnson, Te Awamutu, 300gns; Lagodillie Dreamer, to F. G. Morlan, Greytown, 400 gns. Of the heifers: Dainty Designing Kitty, with a heifer calf at foot, sold at 700gns, to F. C. Morgan, Greytown. West Lynn Snowdrop sold for 700gns to G, H. Capper,' Ohinewai, and Madeiras Maharanee to J. B. Butterworth, Te Awamutu, for 650gns.
