New Member For Druids Lodge

Mr A. Morpeth was installed as a member of the Whakatane Druids Lodge at the fortnightly meeting on Monday night. After a discussion it was resolved to revert to prizes for the card evenings, and several members promised suitable trophies. At the conclusion of the meeting, the holders of the silver buttons for indoor bowls, J. Chisholm, Mrs Chapman, Mrs Rivett and R. Schou (skip), were challenged and defeated by J. Hanright, A. Morpeth, C. T. Bathe and J. D. Rivett (skip).
