Mrs Maurice Grace, Taneatua, has returned after spending several weeks at the seaside home of her mother, Mrs Wagner, Opotiki.
The Mayor, Mr B. S. Barry, has been appointed the Whakatane Borough Council's representative on the committee set up to control the Maori centennial celebrations in September.
