HOW TO BUY GOOD GRASS SEED

Questions & Answers (By E. R. Marryatt, Field Instructor, Whakatane) Question: How can I obtain reliable information about seed for which the merchant has no P & G Certificate? Answer: Any farmer may at any time send a sample of seed to the Seed Testing Station (Box 609) Palmerston North and ask for an advisory report. There is ro charge for this service. About two ounces representative of the line of seed is required and the name and address of the sender. Advice on seeds and seeds mixtures is also available from your local Instructor of the Extension Division.
