Seven Day’s Gaol
Charged with the theft of three fowls at Ruatoki on May 25 Utiera Maui, labourer, Ruatoki, was convicted and sentenced to seven day’s gaol bv Messrs L. H. Brown and S. S. Shapley, J’s.'P., in the Whakatane Police Court. Maui was also committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on a cha'rge of unlawful carnal knowledge of a 15 year old girl at Nukuhou on May 12.
