Instructive Talk Given On School Medical Service
Mrs L. Grey presided over a well attended meeting of the Taneatua Women’s Institute. An instructive talk on the School Medical Service was given by the District Nurse, Nurse Ward. The Drama Circle were congratulated on their success in the Drama Festival, the entry in the comedy section being selected to represent the Eastern Bay Federation in the semi-finals at Hamilton.
A wall competition arranged by Mrs Frost, was won by Mrs Gardner and this was followed by a novel debate “Old Fashioned Girl versus Modern Miss.” Competition results:—
