Recommendation To Clear Domain Campers
“It is rather difficult to serve any notice on the occupiers of the caravans and other permanent campers in the Domain, as they have all made application for State houses” the sanitary inspector, Mr A. R. Knights, reported to this week’s meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council. Some drainage had been provided for waste water from sinks, and this seemed to be reasonably satisfactory at present. ' “However, I recommend that if at all possible this area be cleared of temporary housing by the end of the 3 r ear,” he added.
