JUNE 21st, 22nd, 23rd 24th. ONLY 9 DAYS BEFORE WE OPEN The President, the Executive and the staff are doing their part to make this Show an outstanding success. Have you done your part as a resident in this rich and fertile district ? Have you taken out your membership ticket at the low fee of 10/6 ? Have you arranged for an entry in the various sections ? Has that little girl or yours entered for the Caledonian Dancing Competitions ? Have you arranged to take part in the procession ? If you have not received a schedule ring 398 D or 146 A. Helpers are wanted on Saturday, June 17th at 9 a.m. to erect 7000 square feet of marquees. SPECIAL NEW FEATURES Plans of the projected harbour will be shown in a special stall, and the engineer will explain the details over the microphone at times and days to be advertised. Entries for the Caledonian Dancing are coming from a wide area and Miss Oliffe of Rotorua an Academy judge will decide the winners. Athol the “Strongman” will give exhibitions of skill that will thrill the spectators. The “Wall of Death” with a new Australian outfit, will demonstrate that the old idea that an apple falls to the earth is wrong. Five of the best Merry Go Rounds and Rides from the Hamilton Winter Show will tempt every child to the Show. The Ferris Wheel will give visitors a wonderful view of the Bay and the Plains. The Motor Show is booked out. Milking machines, separators and farming machinery will be in greater variety than ever. Trade exhibit space sales have increased by 89 per cent.
