BEACON WINS TROPHY CHALLENGE
The Beacon team, L. O. Stewart (capt), Miss A. Bathe, J. Jessop and L. R. Spring defeated Armstrong’s Garage, N. J. Harris, R. Woods, l>. Nicholson and M. J. Dippie in a challenge for the inter-house trophy of the Whakatane Legion Miniature Rifle Club. The scores were Beacon 314 and Armstrong’s Garage 276. Individual scores: A. Bradshaw 94, Mrs J.
