Mrs L. Churchouse, Putaruru, is at present visiting Mrs W. Beamish, Whakatane.
Mr and. Mrs C. B. Balfour, Onepu, returned home on Wednesday after a fortnight’s holiday in the South Island.
Mr Dave T. Turuwhenua, Waimana, has been reappointed Honorary Child Welfare Officer for the district according to the latest Gazette.
Miss J. M. Flower, dressmaking tutor of the Auckland Education Board, has commenced duties at Edgecumbe in dressmaking classes. She will be in the district for three months.
