RUGBY TRIALS

Sir, —As a follower of junior football for many years I am amazed to see the name of R. Civil is missing from the list of players chosen for training. Easily the best hooker in the junior competition, excellent in line outs and in the ruck, captain last season of his club team in Rotorua, and captain of the Bay of Plenty Junior Reps, playing excellent football this season and as fit ds a fiddle. Yet our selectors cannot see fit to include him, what may I ask you, is wrong with their judgment.

Yours etc., JUNIOR REP SELECTOR OF THE 30’s.
