. Miss Cecily Sullivan, daughter of ■the Minister of Labour, Mr W. Sullivan, and Mrs Sullivan was one of the 38 debutants presented to the 'Governor-General and Lady Freyberg at a reception at Government House, Wellington, last week. Mr •Sullivan, who is the member for the Bay of Plenty, formerly resided -at Whakatane but his ministerial duties necessitated his residing at Wellington, where he now lives with his family. Miss Sullivan wore a white watered taffeta full-skirted strapless frock with deep tucks on the bodice and skirt. Mrs Sullivan presented her daughter and wore an apricot silk crepe frock with softly draped effect
