UNBEATEN SENIOR TEAMS TO MEET

With tomorrow’s games bringing the Rugby season at Whakatane into the fourth week two teams remain unbeaten in the senior competition. Both of them, Wairaka and Paroa, are to meet at Whakatane Rugby Field tomorrow and will provide the main game of the day while on No. 2 field United and Poroporo, both of whom have lost a game each, will decide who is to take third place on the ladder. The other two teams from the eastern part of the Union, Taneatua and Ruatoki, both of whom have yet to win a game, will meet on their home ground at Taneatua. In the junior competition the unbeaten teams are School and United who are both playing good football in this grade. The other teams still appear to be building up. A similar position seems to exist in the third grade but present indications are that both lower grades are going to turn on some splendid football before very long. Tomorrow’s games:—
