Bay Team Will Play As Curtain Raiser To North-South Game

The representative Rugby match between Bay of Plenty and Auckland B to be played at Auckland on September 23 is to be the curtainraiser to the North Island v South Island lame. A further representative game has been arranged for the Bay and will be against Thames Valley at Waihi. Two matches have been arranged for the Bay of Plenty junior team during the season. The first will be against Poverty Bay at Gisborne on June 21 and will be the curtainraiser to the British Isles team v Bay of Plenty-Poverty Bay-East Coast game. The second fixture is against Waikato at Tauranga on August 26 and' will be a curtainraiser to the senior game between the same two centres.
