TWO TEAMS UNBEATEN IN COMPETITION Rugby swings into the third week at Whakatane tomorrow and the leaders are now\beginning to sort themselves but anything is liable to happen. So far only two teams are unbeaten, Wairaka and Paroa, but each will have hard games this week when Wairaka meets Ruatoki at Taneatua and Paroa plays Poroporo at Whakatane. The other Whakatane game will be between United and Taneatua on the No. 1 ground. So far only Ruatoki and Taneatua have had two losses United and Poroporo have had a win and a loss each.
The junior competition will provide two matches at Whakatane tomorrow and one at Taneatua. The two third grade games are to be at Whakatane starting at noon. RUGBY TEAMS United to play Taneatua tomorrow: Hunt, Taylor, Rutherford, Malaquin, Callaghan, Haddon, Goodwin, Mundy, Ruffles, Dines, Butler (2), Parkinson, Nickolls, Green, Howat, Gardiner.
