Young Farmers Plan To Hold Inter-Club Rugby Tournament
An offer of a trophy for the interclub rugby tournament, which is planned this year was accepted at the annual meeting of the Eastern Bay of Plenty District Committee of Young Farmers’ Clubs at Whakatarie. It was left to the Taneatua Club to organise the tournament. Officers elected:—
Co-opted members, Messrs I. B. Gow, W. H. Mandeno, A. F. Barwell, J. M. Barr, B. W. Mundy, S. R. Luttrell, W. H. Fisher and K. TAnson; chairman, Mr T. M. Burke; vice-chairman, Mr J. Platt Gow; secretary-treasurer, Mr E. R. Marryatt; hon. auditor, Mr N. H. E. Hockin; publicity officer, Mr Burke; delegates to Auckland Council, Messrs Burke, Platt Gow and G. R. Yeoman; delegate to A. and P. Society, Mr J. H. White; delegate to Bay of Plenty Pig Council, #Mr W. H. Fisher; delegate to Federated Farmers, Mr Platt Gow; delegate to Winter Show Association, Mr J. C. Hawken; porker and bacon competition committee delegate, Mr Fisher; emergency committee, Messrs Burke. Platt Gow and Marryatt.
