Regulations Wanted For Milk Sampling

Urgent endeavours are now being made to bring down regulations for milk sampling which will ensure safety from challenge if dairy companies adhere to them the chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board, Mr W. Hale, told a Bay of Flenty Ward Conference at Whakatane yesterday. He referred to an incident in Taranaki where a method of milk sampling, which had been in operation for over ten years without serious challenge had been the subject of a court action by a supplier. The court had held the method to be unsatisfactory and the company involved had been put to heavy expense.
