PUBLIC NOTICES BAY OF PLENTY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD NOTICE TO CONSUMERS To comply with the direction of the State Hydro-Electric Department all consumers in the Board’s area of supply and Whakatane Borough shall reduce power consumption by 15 per cent. The present power shut down over the whole area between the hours of 6.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. every evening will be extended in duration subject to the savings introduced by the cooperation of consumers.
