Some good cricket, was seen when Whakatane drew with the touring Thames Colts team at Whakatane on Monday. Some particularly good bowling by the Whakatane pair, J. Ruff and J. Rivett, kept the visiting batsmen careful and the scores down. Ruff took four wickets for 20 runs and Rivett 3 for 27. Details:—
