Saturday Polling Day

A recommendation that the general election should be, held on Saturdays was carried at the annual conference of the New Zealand Motor Body Builders’ Industrial Union of Employers recently. The meeting decided to make representations to the Government that in future all polls and,referendums should be held on Saturdays so as not to interfere with production.
