Shooting
WET CONDITIONS AT RANGITAIKI
The Rangitaiki Defence Rifle Club held a shoot on Saturday, but was marred by steady rain. Conditions were 10 shots at 500 and 600 yards. J. Nowland, who has been shooting well this season, put on a record score of 98 out of a possible 100.
A shoot is to be held on Saturday. < Scores: J. Nowland 49 (500yds), 49 (600yds), total 98; P. McGillan 48, 46, 94; L. Mikkiesen 46, 46, 92; W. Moore 46, 45, 91; A. Moore 47, 44, 91; L. Coffin 41, 41, 82; L. Rendall 41, 39, 80.
