New Bay Of Plenty Archery Sub-Centre Formed By Clubs

The next shoot for the Standard Rose Bowl, which was won recently by Whakatane, is to be held at Whakatane in November, it was decided at the annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Sub-Centre of the Auckland Archery Association held at Tauranga. Bay of Plenty" Championships are to be held each year and-the first was set down for the Auckland Anniversary week-end next year.

Competitors will shoot for cups, which will be held for one year by the winners. Officers elected: — President, Mr B. Chatfield- (Opotiki); vice-presidents, Messrs R. Hunter (Whakatane), V. Smith (Tauranga), R. Shalfoon (Opotiki); secretaries, Miss G. McLean (Tauranga), and Mrs J. Lynds (Whakatane).
