Sec., Edgecumbe Progessive Association. 402 RETURNS OF LAND Every person and company, whether a taxpayer or not, being the owner of land in New Zealand within the meaning of the Land and Income Tax 'Act, 1923, and Regulations thereunder, is hereby required to furnish on or before the 11th April,'l9so, in the prescribed form, a return of such land as at 12 noon on 31st March, 1950, where the total unimproved value, as assessed under the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, exceeds £SOO. Returns are to be addressed to the Superintendent of the Branch Office of the Land and Income Tax Department where the taxpayer’s records are filed. Any person failing to furnish a return at the prescribed time is liable to a penalty up to £IOO.
