Bridge Maintenance

Inter-Union Rugby Games At the annual meeting of the Tauranga Rugby Sub-Union it was decided to suggest througn the Bay of Plenty Union that inter-union representative games be delayed to as late in the season as practicable.

Taneatua Footpaths Approval has been received from the Main Highways Board to proceed with the work of constructing lOi chains of concrete footpaths by the Whakatane County Council. A tender has been accepted and the contractor has been instructed to go ahead with the work.

This question was brought up by the fact that the allocation for the test match against Australia was ten tickets to the Bay of Plenty. This means there was one ticket for Tauranga.
