Appreciation For Use Of Grounds
Appreciation of the free use of their grounds given by Mr and Mrs jC. Hallett for the annual picnic was expressed at the monthly meeting of the Te Teko Branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers held at. the home of Mrs K. Costello. The guest speaker was Mrs Tony Smith. It was decided to hold the annual meeting in the Te Teko Hall on April 19. A new member, Mrs K. Campbell, was welcomed. Competiton results: —
Mystery parcel, Mrs G. Nation 1; best bloom, Mrs Hallett 1, Mrs Smith 2; fruit, Mrs L.‘ Winters, 1, Mrs Hallett 2; vegetables, Mrs Nation 1, Mesdames F. Butler and D. Trumper 2 equal.
