Information Wanted On Town Planning

A request that it be kept informed on aill town planning proposals for Whakatane is to be made to the Whakatane Borough Council by the Whakatane and Kopeopeo Citizens’ and Ratepayers’ Association. This was decided at a recent meeting of the Association. It was felt that by letting the Association know what was going on the Council would help to allay many unreliable rumours.

The meeting decided to make a di'ive for membership and to try and make the people of the town more interested in civic affairs.
