State House Block Is Growing Rapidly
With work proceeding steadily on the eight units at present under construction and sites prepared for a further eight the new State house block in Tuhoe Avenue, Whakatane, is rapidly expanding and there should soon be more dwellings available for the many people without homes at present living in the town and Ohope. By the end of this month the contractors expect to have two houses ready for occupation. Both will contain two bedrooms.
At present another three units, one three bedroomed house and a double unit each of two bedrooms, are waiting completion of interior work before, being handed over. There are a, further five houses now having the flooring sections installed.
