RED CROSS CORRECTION
Sir,—May I be permitted to correct an error in your paragraph on Red Cross Aid to China? The Executive Committee of the Red Cross Society at its recent meeting reaffirmed its decision, taken "some time ago, not to send relief to China until proper distribution is assured. This has been the Society’s policy for some time, with the exception of gifts sent to Red Cross specifically for China which have been forwarded. Corso, I understand, still sends assistance, but the Red Cross Society severed its connection with this organisation some time ago. Thanking you. Vmirq. pfr JANET E. WINSTONE, Member Dominion Executive, N.Z. Red Cross Society. Whakatane, March 9.
