There are five members on the Licensing Committee and should we be elected, it will be our aim in association v with the rest of the Licensing Committee to:—

1. Do all in our power to improve the accommodation in licensed hotels up o to as high a standard as circumstances will permit. - ' 2. As far as possible td see that the law is enforced - against all avoidable abuses in the use of alcoholic liquor. 3. Give every help and encouragement to Licensees who are endeavouring to conduct good houses. 4. Do all in our power to place the Liquor Trade in a position where it can command respect. This question, now, as never before’is important, and it is-in the public interest that all voters give serious thought to the matter.
