Interest at 4£% is charged on the “daily balance”. If all seasonal proceeds are paid to the Society until such time as required, net interest rates as low as 3£% may be obtained. Mortgages are for periods of 5 to 10 years during which period the mortgagor always has the right to reborrow to the full amount of the original loan. ■jfc- No charge is required over stock and plant.
