Gift Evening Held At Edgecumbe

There was a large crowd of friends and \yell wishers to a pleasant gift evening to Miss B. Starnes and Mr E. Neilson, who are shortly to be married, at the Edgecumbe School on Tuesday evening. Arranged by Mrs R. J. Pattison the evening took the form of games interspersed with musical items. Many useful gifts were presented to the guests and Mr I. B. Gow wished the young couple every success for the future.. Mr Neilson replied. Musical items were ‘given by Messrs H. Liopdell, piano, A. Crook, mouth organ, and G. Nicholls, banjo.
