Interest Increasing In Licensing Poll

Interest in Tuesday’s poll to elect the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee has increased in the past few days and it is expected that more people will vote this time than the number registered at previous elections. Some of the ten candidates nominated have been busy canvassing and early this week Ohope residents were presented With cards with five of the candidates printed on them.

The legend on these publicity sheets urged electors to vote for these five “for continued progress.” Other candidates have advertised in the different newspapers in the district.
