SPECTACULAR RIDING AT OHOPE
Before a large crowd members of the Bay of Plenty and Rotorua Motor Cycling Clubs featured some close racing at the Caledonian Sports Ground, Ohope, yesterday. The most successful competitor was B. Woods, Whakatane, who won three races. Results:— { 350 cc Scratch: B. Woods 1, R. McKay 2. 500 cc: J. Marsh 1, F. Cameron 3, A. Law 3. Open handicap: First heat: A. Marsh 1, C. Goodwin 2, Cameron 3; second heat, B. Woods 1, J. Marsh 2, McKay 3; semi-final: B. Woods 1, J. Marsh 2; final: B. Woods 1, Cameron 2. Second open handicap: First heat, A. Hall 1, Law 2, A. Marsh 3; second heat, J. Marsh 1, B. Woods 2, Cameron 3; final: B. Woods 1, Hall 2, J. Marsh 3. Consolation handicap: T. Woods 1, Goodwin 2, McKay 3.
