WHAKATANE AND RANGITAIKI AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL SOCIETY 4 X st« Annual Show Show Grounds, Whakatane Domain SATURDAY (This Week) February 25th The Show Executive has worked for weeks to make this Show attractive to both town and country residents. The members ask for only one reward, your attendance on Saturday. Every taste has been catered for, and from the fine assemblage of horses, to the youth and beauty of the girls’ marching teams visitors will have a full and satisfying day. I This list of starting times for the various sections will help you plan your day on Saturday. General Stock judging starts at 9 a.m. Ring Events start at 10 a.m. Children's Pony Events start at 10 am. National Caledonian Dancing starts at 10.30 a.m. i Maiden Jump had record entries last year starts at 11.30 a.m. * Luncheon break at 12.15 p.m. Hot water and refreshments procurable. Ring events recommence at 12.45 p.m. The Girls Marching teams will march from Crete Street at 1.15 p.m. and at 1.30 p.m. in a specially marked out ground will start their competitions. The Bay of Plenty Jumping Competition First Prize £SO and Armstrong Cup and Miniature approximate time 2 p.m. The Grand Parade 2.30 p.m. The Poultry Show, Home Industries and Fruit and Farm Produce will be housed in the Produce Hall. The Trade Section for Cars, Tractors and Farm Machinery will have a wide appeal to every progressive farmer. The Side Shows will be in full force. Owing to the large number of entries received it has been found necessary to close the Domain path and cycling track on Show Day next Saturday, February 25th.
