WHAKATANE GAMES FOR WEEK-END

Because of rain games of the Whakatane cricket competition set down last Sunday for the Collins Shield were cancelled and it has been decided to play them this Sunday. As the draw stands Edgecumbe! is to meet Te Teko at Edgecumbe while Waimana plays Taneatua at Waimana. P. and T. takes the bye but players are to gather at Rivett’s shop at 8.30 a.m. tomorow for a working bee at the club ground.

Tomorrow United has selected a representative team to play Whakatane High School on the Domain. This will be the first time these teams have met this year. United team to play at Domain tomorrow at 10 a.m.:—
